Royals Scrapping Through Tough Stetch
The Royals cap off a difficult stretch of their schedule with a chance to take the Dodgers series
May 24th kicked off a particularly tough stretch of baseball for the Royals. They faced the Rays, Twins, Padres, Guardians, Mariners, Yankees, and Dodgers in that stretch. Every one of those teams, except the Rays who are decimated by injury but always a sound ball club, is at or above .500. The Yankees and Dodgers look like World Series favorites.
With a win today against the Dodgers, the Royals would end that 22-game stretch at 10-12—an impressive feat given they’ve handled most of it without one of their key starters and their bullpen has been less than consistent.
