Royals Post Uneven Week, but JJ's Finally Making Changes

The Royals took a series from the Giants, but suffered two walk-off losses to the Twins. The big picture's looking better though.

Looking back at this week will be tough because the Royals enter Sunday staring down a three-game sweep at the hands of the division-rival Twins. They’ve lost the first two games on walk-offs, once again stifled by an impotent offense.

But the wheels of change have been turning this week, which is good to see. JJ Piccolo and the front office finally decided to make some changes to the roster that fans (and the Royals Weekly podcast) have been clamoring for.

The Royals have more levers to pull on the roster churn, and that will be the focus of this weekly wrap up.
