Royals on the doorstep of Spring Training

As a snow storm heads for KC, a blue storm heads for Surprise.

We’ve done it! This is the last weekly wrap up post of the off-season. Spring training officially begins on Wednesday with pitchers and catchers reporting, and I gotta say. This off-season felt harder than previous ones. The two month drought of Royals news was tough to stomach. And though it would have been nice to see the Royals add that fabled middle-of-the-order bat (there’s still a very small chance they do), now fans get to watch in anticipation to see if they can overcome that deficiency and win again.

There are a thousand interesting storylines going into this spring training, and I’m pumped to watch (and listen) to them play out over the next month and a half.
