Royals Languish in Losing Streak, Offensive Hell

The Royals are treating runs like that one uncle at Thanksgiving ... just trying to avoid them.

I know it feels dark out there, and it is. The Royals are dead last in run production. They’re mired in a six-game losing streak and have lost eight of their last nine. Perhaps most depressing is watching the fellas fall behind by two runs each night and feeling like that deficit is insurmountable for this team.

But remember, the Royals had a seven game losing streak last year, as well. And if a long losing streak was going to happen at some point this season, it was most likely to come in this tough opening month of the schedule.

Yeah, it’s rough while we’re in it, but weathering storms is what people from the midwest do. Now, let’s look at what the hell is happening out there.
