On paper, the Royals are in roughly the same place as last year.

The Royals are three weeks away from pitchers and catchers reporting and almost exactly a month from the first spring training game. And despite the Royals making it to the ALDS and the Chiefs giving us a lot to pay attention to, the off-season hasn’t felt quick to me. It has felt the opposite … slow.

The lack of action from the Royals has made the off-season a real slog this year, but we’re about four weeks from near-daily baseball. So, find a bite stick or something, and we’ll get through this together.
